Project Description: The goal of this project was to redesign the shell of a Harbor Freight drill while maintaining all of the original internal components. Prototypes were built using automotive clay to develop the visual hierarchy and ergonomic functions. Cad models were then built and created with 3D printing. 3D printed models were then sanded, painted, and assembled.
